With 15 years' experience, Pam Shearing is a solicitor whose practice focuses on corporate governance and compliance, global investigations and white-collar defence.
Pam has significant experience reviewing, designing and implementing corporate governance and compliance programs, and providing workshops and training to senior compliance professionals. She has extensive experience leading teams advising global companies and individuals on the full spectrum of corporate governance and financial regulation, including working with global corporations on multi-jurisdictional complex investigations, as well as advising on the implications of international anti-corruption legislation. Pam also advises companies on the implications of the Modern Slavery Act and human rights legislation.
In addition to several years working in private practice (both in a Magic Circle firm and a leading US law firm), Pam formerly worked in-house in the Legal & Compliance team of a FTSE 30 company's Head Office.
Simultaneously, Pam has had an esteemed career in academia. Completing her PhD in 2016, she spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Fellow at Harvard University. She has taught for several years at leading London universities and currently teaches undergraduates at King’s College London.
